Christmas service 2009

24 December, 2009

A Happy and Healing Christmas to you all!!
Christmas morning worship begins at 10.00am for an hour, so that you can get back home early to finish preparations for lunch.

Over the next 12 Days I will be posting some Christmas reflections on a blog at http://davidbeales.livejournal.com/
The first three days are already uploaded, the rest will be added day by day from the 28th onwards.
I take the view that the Christmas stories are very contemporary. They read us! Surprisingly, they are all about our lives, our society, our world.

Themes include:
Celebrity
Outsiders
Terrorism
Elderly
Spirituality
Progress
Dreams
Identity
Family
Creativity
Scandal
Suffering

Not all of these are usual fare at Christmas time, are they? So, what's it all about?
Hoping these posts are of interest and will provoke some thought and discussion.
Dave
