DNA Prayer event
When: this Saturday, June 19th
Time: 8.30am - 9.30am
Where: 52 Wellesley Rd Colchester
Purpose: Praying for the work of DNA
Sunday, June 20th, worship event, back at Colchester Arts Centre, 10.30am start
Dave picks up the story of Paul's conversion, looking at what happened next, (from Acts 9: 19-31) to be followed by Holy Communion

Some dates for the diary in June
Sunday 6th June, we will be meeting at St Martin's, West Stockwell St, for our 10.30am worship event, as the Arts Centre is unavailable (Beer Festival!)
Sunday, June 13th - DNA 9th Birthday Picnic at Assington!
Celebrating together with outdoor worship (weather permitting!)
followed by a picnic lunch, games, time to relax and chill
Assington, Sunday June 13th, 10.30am-4pm
Please bring your own picnic lunch including drinks, a rug to sit on, sunscreen and hats. Tea and coffee will be provided.
The DNA minibus + cars will be leaving from the Colchester Arts Centre at 10am,
please let Enoch know if you need a lift
We will be joined for the picnic by international students from Luton University!

SUNDAY'S WORSHIP EVENT Theme: How the resurrection makes a difference to our lives
Following on from last Sunday, Christine Claydon will be speaking, sharing with us her story of the last few months
Like last week, the worship will contain creative and interactive elements suitable for all ages.
Children will be encouraged to stay at the tables with their parents during Christine's talk. There will be some colouring/puzzles provided. Please feel free to bring along any books from home for your children or other suitable quiet activities for them to do during the talk.

For the Easter weekend:
Good Friday: we will join the Walk of Witness in the Town Centre, meeting at Salvation Army, Southway, at 11.45 am. The walk will proceed at midday, following the Cross, up Head St and along High St to the Castle Gates for an act of worship.
Celebration at the Mercury in the evening at 7.30pm. (Look out for Charity Pancaldi and Psalm Drummers)
Easter Sunday: we will meet as normal in the Arts Centre at 10.30am where we will celebrate the Resurrection, expecting to encounter Jesus in his Word, by his Spirit and in one another.
We'll also hear stories from Karen-Burmese guests formerly from the Thai/Burma border and we'll have an update from the Ramazani family in Namibia.
Naomi and Mark's wedding is at St Botolph's, 1.30pm Saturday April 10th. You are invited to the wedding service!
